▶ I/Q Modulation Bandwidth (External Analog IQ Input): ±20% of Carrier Frequency (100 MHz ± 500 MHz (2.5 GHz ▶ Dimensions (W×H×D): 250 mm × 52.5 mm × 401 mm ▶ Weight: 4 kg Key facts Smallest fully integrated vector signal generator on the market Excellent RF performance and space-saving design Max. output level of typ. +22 dBm for compensating setup losses High output frequency up to 12.75 GHz for broad applicability Wear-free electronic attenuator for high reliability。 Compact - Fast - Reliable The R&S®SGS100A is an RF source designed to meet the requirements of automated test systems. It is available as a CW source or as a vector signal generator with an integrated I/Q modulator. With its frequency range of up to 12.75 GHz, the vector signal generation version covers the essential digital signals. The CW version can be used as a flexible local oscillator and for interference testing against mobile radio standards. Features & benefits Dedicated ATE signal source -minimized footprint Smallest integrated signal generator for minimized system footprint The small size of only one rack unit and 1/2 19 inch rack width per instrument saves space in the testsvstem and reduces costs. Four RF paths up to 12.75 GHz can now be placed in the average spaceonce needed for one RF path - saving space. This makes the R&SeSGS100A ideal for ATE applicationseven where multiple RF sources are required simultaneously. Dedicated ATE signal source - fast setting times Fast setting times via PCle/Ethernet interfacefor high throughput Production applications require speed during testing to ensure high throughput. The R&SeSGS100Ameets this reguirement in several ways. lts internal architecture and software are designed for topspeed and the PCle/Ethernet interface transmits the remote control commands at maximum speed。 Dedicated ATE signal source - high maximum levels High maximum level for compensating losses in the setup In a complex test system, typical level losses of several dB occur between the signal generator and theDUT. These result from long cables and from the use of switching matrices and filters. With a typicaloutput level of +22 dBm, the R&SeSGS100A provides sufficient margin to compensate for such lossesOptional wear-free electronic attenuator up to 12.75 GHz。 High performance in the right package High level linearity and repeatability for consistent test conditions The R&SeSGS100A is designed for speed and compactness and offers performance previously availableonly from high-end benchtop instruments. But the maximum level is not everything. in calibrated testsvstems, level repeatability and linearity are essential for a generator. High level repeatability ensuresconsistent test conditions and enables lower tolerances when defining test limits. Connectivity Fully tuned for ATE Though small in size, the R&SeSGMA product family has multiple remote control options. PCle orEthernet is recommended for maximum setting speed together with a corresponding instrument drivelfrom Rohde & Schwarz, which is available for Windows and Linux. The standard arrangement of all theconnectors on the back of the instrument as well as the broad range of available rack mount adaptersenable simple integraton into test svstems. Minimized total cost of ownership Low initial costs and low cost of ownership Attractive initial cost Straightforward modular design for short repair times, minimizing test system downtime Long calibration interval for minimized service costs 3 year standard warranty Available options RF Signal Generator SGS100A-B106 :1 MHz to 6 GHz, CW (no modulation) , Order number: 1416.2308.02 RF Signal Generator SGS100A-B106V:1 MHz to 6 GHz, l/Q (with vector modulation), Order number: 1416.2350.02 RF Signal Generator SGS100A-B112 :Frequency Extension to 12.75 GHz.CVVRequires R&seSGS-B106 Order number: 1416.1553.02 RF Signal Generator SGS100A-B112V :Frequency Extension to 12.75 GHz.CVVRequires R&seSGS-B106 Order number: 1416.1576.02
