Keysight N5183B MXG X-Series Microwave Analog Signal Generator N5183B-Option 520,9 kHz to 20 GHz
N5183B-Option 513: 9 kHz to 13 GHz
N5183B-Option 520: 9 kHz to 20 GHz
N5183B-Option 532: 9 kHz to 31.8 GHz
N5183B-Option 540: 9 kHz to 40 GHz
N5183B MXG X-Series microwave analog signal generator offers 9 kHz to 40 GHz frequency coverage
and near PSG levels of phase noise performance with advantages in size and speed.
Highlights
Maximize speed and rack space with the pure and precise MXG
▶Get a fast, compact (2U) alternative to the Performance Signal Generator (PSG) in the lab, depot or field
▶Address demanding tests of radar modules & systems with near-PSG levels of spectral purity
▶Compensate for system loss & drive high-power amplifiers: +19 dBm output power, -55 dBc harmonics &
-68 dBc spurious @ 20 GHz
▶Reduce calibration time with switching speed 600 µs
▶Simulate narrowband chirps & radar antenna scans with up to five internal function generators that can be
used with AM, FM, OM pulse modulation
Definitions
Specification (spec):
Specifications represent warranted performance of a calibrated instrument that hasbeen stored for a minimum of 2 hours within the operating temperature range of 0 to55 °C, unless otherwise stated, and after a 45 minutes warm-up period. Thespecifications include measurement uncertainty. Data represented in this documentare specifications unless otherwise noted.
Typical (typ):
Typical (typ) describes additional product performance information. It is performancebeyond specifications that 80 percent of the units exhibit with a 95 percentconfidence level at room temperature (approximately 25 °C). Typical performancedoes not include measurement uncertainty.
Nominal (nom) or measured (meas):
Nominal (nom) or measured (meas) describes a performance attribute that is bydesign or measured during the design phase for the purpose of communicatingsampled, mean, or average performance, such as the 50-ohm connector oramplitude drift vs. time. This data is not warranted and is measured at roomtemperature (approximately 25 °C)。
