The R&S®BBA150 broadband amplifiers cover a total of five frequency bands: 9 kHz to 250 MHz, 4 kHz to 400 MHz, 80 MHz to 1 GHz, 0.69 GHz to 3.2 GHz and 2.5 GHz to 6 GHz. They can be used to address a variety of applications, including the various standards for EMS measurements up to 6 GHz. In the industry environment, the R&S®BBA150 broadband amplifiers are suitable for development and product validation tests in quality assurance and in the development and production of components. Other fields of use include research, physical engineering and communications. The compact and modular design allows single band or multi band configurations in 4HU desktops or in 19" racks for high power.

The R&SeBBA150 broadband amplifiers are state-of-the-art solid state microwave amplifier encompassaltogether five frequency ranges: 9 kHz - 250 MHz (A), 4 kHz - 400 MHz (AB), 80 MHz - 1 GHz (BC),0.69 GHz -3.2 GHz (D) and 2.5 GHz - 6 GHz (E) with different power classes between 15 W and 3000W. They can be flexibly scaled and upgraded in terms of frequency and power. lt secures customers'investments and offers them the flexibility to adapt their systems to new reguirements at a later point intime.

Reliable with high availability
The R&SeBBA150 broadband amplifiers are highly tolerant to mismatch at the rf output and areexcellent suited for ElC applications with poorly matched antennas or for DUT measurements with aninput impedance that deviates significantly from 50 Q. They are rugged enough to handle short-circuiting at the RF end or an open RF output. The R&SeBBA150 delivers the rated output power for aslong as possible up to a mismatch of VSVR 6:1.

Compact and modular with extensive switching options
The design of R&SeBBA150 is optimized for maximum flexibility in a small footprint. The compact.modular design of the amplifier stages and other components allows the setup of highly integratedsystems based on 19" rack units. The frequency and power of these rack units can be flexiblyconfigured. Numerous switching options allow you to mix and match the individual amplifiers to asingle system with multiple frequency bands to obtain the best configuration for your specificapplication.

Flexible control and operation
The R&SeBBA150 is operated via the display and the buttons on the front panel. This is ideal for use inlabs and makes it easy to change settings. In addition the R&S@BBA150 can be conveniently operatedvia its graphical user interface using a computer. The web GUl integrated into the R&S@BBA150 is calledup via LAN and web browser. The standard Ethernet interface makes it possible to automate testsequences using remote control SCPl commands.
