rohde schwarz RS CMP200 radio communication tester 6 GHz to 20 GHz
rohde schwarz RS CMP200 radio communication tester 6 GHz to 20 GHz
Key facts
IF range from 6 GHz to 20 GHz
Parallel testing of multiple DUTs
Ultrafast measurement speed
Fully automated path correction concept
Key Features
▶ Supports 5G FR2 testing and Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology testing
▶ IF frequency range of 4 to 20 GHz, which can support UWB when used independently. After connecting
an external millimeter-wave frequency converter, the frequency can be converted to 5G NR FR2
frequencies, enabling millimeter-wave terminal testing.
▶ Can connect up to 3 millimeter-wave frequency converters to improve multi-terminal testing efficiency
▶ Can connect to R&S®NRPM USB power sensor
▶ Supports instrument IF interface with millimeter-wave module IF interface for transmission and
reception testing
▶ Can evaluate UWB broadband spectrum under a 1 GHz bandwidth
▶ Supports high-precision UWB positioning testing, including ToF and AoA measurements
The integrated non-signaling solution for 5G mmWave RF parametric testing
The CMP200 is an IF tester that combines vector signal analyzer and ARB based generator functions. The compact integrated solution can be customized with up to three R&S®CMPHEAD30 remote radio heads (RRH), for upconverting/downconverting signals to 5G FR2 frequencies.
Features & benefits
Flexible deployment
The R&SeCMPO covers the full spectrum of applications, from chip development to module testing todevice testing in production
Split concept
Thanks to the innovative split concept, mmWave is available at the CMP200 and at theR&S@CMPHEAD30.:
Robust mechanical design
At FR2, very precise and robust mechanical properties are just as important as the RF properties. TheR&SeCMPO meets this challenging combination of requirements.
Highly accurate thanks to unique path correction
Split concept with lF tester, mmWave remote radio head and shielding cube. Single hardware solutionsupports all essential FR2 bands incl. 28 GHz and 39 GHz.
Unique calibration concept
The calilbration routines are integrated into the R&SeCMPO,. This enormously simplifies calibration of theoverall system. The R&SeCMPO can be calibrated during normal operation without interrupting ongoingwork. This is especially important in the production environment.
Flexible system configuration
Up to three R&SeCMHEAD30 units can be connected to the CMP200. Each R&SeCMPHEAD30 can beused with up to six individual antennas or probes. The CMP200 can control a total of six paths throughthe R&SeCMPHEAD30 units. The CMP200 is ideal for beamforming and power measurements.
